A Beautiful Ending
Reweaving cultural deathcare into contemporary life.
The ABE Project is rooted in the understanding that death has always been a communal, cultural, and relational experience.
Across traditions and generations, communities have developed ways of preparing for death, tending grief, and honouring the passage from life — not as a medical event alone, but as a shared human threshold.
ABE exists to help reweave these ways of knowing into contemporary life. Our work draws on cultural deathcare practices, community-based care, and practical guidance to support more meaningful, inclusive, and humane experiences at the end of life.
